REX THROWS OUT ITS NET AT THE TUNARAMA FESTIVAL (January 2006)

Rex made a splash at the Tunarama festival – regional South Australia's premier and unique holiday event which celebrates one of Port Lincoln's primary industries – TUNA.

From 21-23 January 2006 Port Lincoln came alive for its finest showcasing of the regions best seafood, wine, art, music, people and surroundings, with the picturesque foreshore lawns of Port Lincoln transformed into a bustling alley of stalls, sideshows and rides, with fun events, special Rex scenic flights and activities and competitions for everyone including the Regional Express Street Procession and the famous John West Tuna Toss Competition.

All proceeds Rex raised on the day from the sale of scenic flights and Rex merchandise were donated to the Port Lincoln RSPCA.
