
All tickets issued by Rex are electronic tickets,
or "e-tickets". Passengers are
advised to read the terms and conditions and fare rules which
are found on the “e-ticket”.
Identification
At least one piece of identification must be
produced at check-in to claim the ticket, as outlined below.
Photographic ID

Passport

Current drivers license

Current state/federal government department issued employee ID card

Valid airline issued employee identification card

Valid cards issued by Airport Authorities and Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)
- Valid
identification cards issued by Government Business Enterprises
Non-photographic ID

Valid state/territory or federal government issued entitlement card, such as a
pension card providing the document includes a signature

Cards such as Medicare cards, which do not have a signature are not acceptable
Children and Infants
Children and infants are required to have the same identification as outlined
above. However, exceptions from these requirements are extended to:

Children and infants travelling with an adult
-
Children and infants travelling as part of an organised group
For group travel, the adult responsible for and travelling with the group is to
present a letter from the relative organisation which includes the name, date
of birth and sex of the responsible adult plus the names, dates of birth and
sex of each of the children.
Contagious Diseases
In accordance with Civil Aviation Orders and the duty of care to protect both
passengers and crew, Regional Express will not carry passengers with a
contagious disease while they are in the infectious stage.
A medical certificate or letter from a physician
stating that you the passenger is "not suffering from a communicable disease at the contagious stage" is
required before travel can be approved for the following contagious
conditions:

Chicken pox

Shingles
-
Hepatitis A
-
Measles
-
Mumps
-
Rubella (German Measles)
-
Whooping Cough (Pertussis)

Tuberculosis
