From
Monday 10 July, Rex passengers will be
bussed directly from their arriving aircraft
to a new Arrivals lounge in the former
International Terminal Building.
This does
away with the time consuming and intrusive
security screening of all arriving regional
passengers.
Arriving passengers will not
be subject to the long walks, the four
flights of stairs and the long process
of exiting the building.
The new Arrivals
has convenient baggage collection and a
quick exit to taxis and the carpark. Passengers
connecting on to other flights will have
to walk a short distance to the main terminal
to check-in.
With respect to baggage claims,
• Passengers disembarking
in Adelaide are to collect their baggage
from Rex Arrival
Terminal.
•
For onward connections to Rex or interline
partners’ flights, passengers will
proceed to T1 for check-in with their onward
carrier and will have their baggage automatically
transferred to the connecting carrier. A
list of Rex interline partners is available
here.
• Passengers transferring to other airlines,
unless advised otherwise, will be required
to collect their baggage from the ground
floor baggage carousel in T1 before checking
in with their onward carrier.
To
ensure baggage is properly tagged for same-day
onward
connection, passengers must inform Rex
at the time of booking and during check-in
at the boarding port. Please take note of the
minimum connecting times here.
